Our charentaises hold the Protected Geographical Identification, for their artisanal fabrication.
It seems :
- a production in Charente / Périgord
- a natural woven felt sole
- reverse-stitched construction (this means that the upper is sewn to the sole and it's much stronger!)
EPV
Our caps and gavroches are made by a Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant. The EPV is a label of excellence issued by the French State to a dozen hand-picked companies to guarantee their craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation.
